About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with ABB divisions, Sales Units, and the Global Motion eCommerce team to define and execute local and global eCommerce strategies.
  • Own commercial execution across assigned eCommerce platforms, including sales enablement, marketing initiatives, and promotional campaigns.
  • Analyze product portfolio, customer behavior, and performance data to identify growth opportunities and improve platform effectiveness.
  • Drive continuous improvement of customer and user experience across ABB eCommerce products and platforms.
  • Support sales performance growth through KPI‑driven, technology‑enabled eCommerce solutions.
  • Translate business and commercial requirements into functional and technical specifications for project and development teams.
  • Develop business cases and fact‑based recommendations to support new eCommerce initiatives and senior management decision‑making.
  • Enable change management and adoption of new tools, processes, and digital ways of working across regions and stakeholders.
  • Share best practices and lessons learned to strengthen eCommerce and digital marketing competence across ABB Motion.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Management, or a related field with strong digital focus.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in eCommerce or digital solution implementations, rollouts, or consulting environments.
  • Proven experience in project management, business/system analysis, requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and handover.
  • Hands‑on experience with enterprise eCommerce platforms; Adobe Commerce experience highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and stakeholder communication skills, including customer‑facing presentations.
  • Solid understanding of application development lifecycles and post‑implementation support models.
  • Experience working in Agile environments; SAFe certification is an advantage.
  • Fluent in English both written and spoken.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25–30% as required to support business and stakeholder engagement.
  • Comfortable working in virtual, cross‑cultural, matrix organizations across time zones.
