About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and nurture strategic relationships with assigned key accounts, understanding their business needs and objectives.
- Manage sales activities and opportunities across direct, third-party, and project sales channels within the account portfolio.
- Drive profitable growth through account expansion, market share growth, innovation, and solution-based selling.
- Define and track key account performance metrics (revenue, order growth, customer satisfaction, pricing), proactively addressing performance gaps.
- Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities with existing customers, supporting contract negotiations and commercial decisions.
- Lead customer engagement initiatives, including regular business reviews, satisfaction surveys, and act on feedback to enhance customer experience.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, supply chain, and project management teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Support market presence and competitive positioning through customer advocacy and relationship building.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech in Engineering preferred)
- Minimum 5-8 years of relevant sales or account management experience in industrial/energy sector
- Strong technical knowledge and market understanding of automation and energy solutions
- Proficiency in English(Writing & oral)
- Strong skills in contract negotiation and commercial analysis
- Proficiency in SFDC (CRM) and SAP (ERP) systems
- Results-driven mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation abilities
