About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Establishing the project execution approach, and overseeing order entry, Submittals, planning, monitoring and control activities for internal execution to accomplish all project goals.
Monitoring and controlling project progress, project financials and customer communications.
Identifying, qualifying, quantifying, managing project risk, and ensuring all opportunities are identified and pursued.
Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.
Collaborating with a team that supports each other, a culture of learning and idea sharing.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college
Minimum 5 additional year of experience in a project management, engineering or manufacturing role; including a minimum of 3 years of project management experience
Strong Communication skills, both verbal and written (English)
Knowledge / Experience with Electrical Distribution Equipment including Switchgear, Motor Control Centers, transformers highly preferred
Strong Organizational skills with attention to detail and sense of urgency; proven leadership skills and ability to effectively manage a matrix team / organization, including leading cross-cultural teams highly preferred
Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
