About the role
- Drive innovation mindset within the team and organization.
- Look for and evaluate new system opportunities, applications & functionalities.
- Lead the project execution/ implementation, establishing the project team, overseeing planning, monitoring and control activities.
- Monitor and control project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials.
- Report progress, status and issues.
- Collaborate with external service providers, implementation partners and support teams to ensure system is running according to expectation.
- Drive the formal acceptance of the project and acknowledgment by the business/ end users, all in accordance with the agreed scope & timeline.
Requirements
- Minimum a Bachelor in any relevant field - Engineering, IT/IS, Finance, Economics or Supply/- Value Chain.
- General project management experience.
- Specific supply chain management or/and sourcing experience, especially from industry.
- IS implementation experience, preferably with SAP Ariba solutions or other similar tool/- system.
- Self-motivated and driven informal leader with ability to get the best out of a diverse team with and without formal line management.
- Extremely strong communication and presentation skills.
- Fluent in English, written and spoken. Additional languages are preferred.
