About the role
- Responsible for operational performance of the tools and field engineers’ activities
- Exceed delivery expectations ensuring professional and ethical representation of the company
- Supervise detailed investigation reports and operational inspections
- Assign work to the service engineering group and ensure controls for employees' working hours
- Overall management responsibility of service engineers’ personnel including staffing needs
- Drive the development of processes and practices based on customer feedback
- Allocate and monitor work based on order content and competencies
- Manage a team of service professionals and ensure effective organization
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar discipline
- Minimum 5 years (with 8 or more years being preferred) of experience in the Marine Service industry
- Service experience (sales, project management, service coordination, or service engineer) in the Cruise and offshore industry
- Service experience in ABB Marine & Ports services and products preferred
- Prior Team Lead experience is highly desirable, but not required
- Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
