About the role
- Acting as the Responsible Person (RP) for Abacus Medicine Latvia
- Establishing and implementing the local Quality Management System (QMS)
- Maintaining the Wholesaler Distribution Authorisation (WDA) and ensuring ongoing GDP compliance
- Overseeing and qualifying a Third-Party Logistics (3PL) provider
- Preparing for and supporting authority inspections
- Participating in QA meetings and serving as a GDP subject matter expert
- Driving quality excellence and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborating closely with colleagues and stakeholders across borders
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Responsible Person or Deputy within the pharmaceutical industry
- Formal qualification to act as RP and/or Deputy
- A Master’s degree in pharmacy, chemistry, or a related field
- In-depth knowledge of local GDP regulations and EU GDP guidelines (GMP knowledge is an advantage)
- Proven experience in setting up new wholesale licenses
- Must be based in Latvia and hold a valid work permit
- Communicate fluently in English and the local language (other European languages are a plus)
