About the role

  • Abacus Insights is a mission-driven technology company transforming the healthcare data industry to improve patient outcomes and reduce costs.
  • The Platform QA team seeks a Sr. Software Engineer in Test to define test plans and testing strategies across multiple applications.
  • You will define test cases and ensure integration by the automation team; collaborate with development teams across the business.
  • This leadership role will work across various applications and technologies in collaboration with several development teams across the business.

Requirements

  • A self-starter with strong communication skills and with a strong understanding of Software Lifecycle and Quality Assurance processes for manual and automated testing.
  • A contributor with strong integration skills that will evaluate new features, test them and update or create existing test cases.
  • Strong communication skills are crucial to highlight findings and raise prioritization when needed.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS and Azure platforms.
  • Strong Knowledge of Database Systems (MongoDB, SQL, MySQL) and Data Validation.
  • Knowledge of healthcare standards.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and trouble-shooting skills.
  • Experience with Micro services architecture, container management, API gateways, and tools like Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Postman and/or API Endpoint validation.
  • Gitlab and CI/CD pipeline experience.
