About the role
- Abacus Insights is a mission-driven technology company transforming the healthcare data industry to improve patient outcomes and reduce costs.
- The Platform QA team seeks a Sr. Software Engineer in Test to define test plans and testing strategies across multiple applications.
- You will define test cases and ensure integration by the automation team; collaborate with development teams across the business.
- This leadership role will work across various applications and technologies in collaboration with several development teams across the business.
Requirements
- A self-starter with strong communication skills and with a strong understanding of Software Lifecycle and Quality Assurance processes for manual and automated testing.
- A contributor with strong integration skills that will evaluate new features, test them and update or create existing test cases.
- Strong communication skills are crucial to highlight findings and raise prioritization when needed.
- Strong knowledge of AWS and Azure platforms.
- Strong Knowledge of Database Systems (MongoDB, SQL, MySQL) and Data Validation.
- Knowledge of healthcare standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and trouble-shooting skills.
- Experience with Micro services architecture, container management, API gateways, and tools like Kubernetes.
- Experience with Postman and/or API Endpoint validation.
- Gitlab and CI/CD pipeline experience.
