Key responsibilities & impact

Strategic responsibility: development and implementation of the IT strategy for a growing medical technology company
Cloud transformation: migration of legacy systems to modern, scalable cloud infrastructures
Establishment of an IT security strategy and NIS-2 compliance for critical infrastructure
Vendor management and contract negotiations with IT service providers
Budgeting and investment planning for IT projects
Operational excellence: project management for ERP upgrades (Proalpha) and system integrations
Computer System Validation (CSV) for GMP-compliant medical device environments
Administration of Office 365 and modern workplace solutions
IT infrastructure management (network, security, performance)
First-level support
Leadership and team development
Business partnership: direct collaboration with the executive board on strategic IT decisions
Cross-functional coordination with all departments
IT audit management (external audits, certifications, license audits)
Change management in IT transformation projects

Requirements

What you’ll need

Extensive professional IT experience with a focus on infrastructure, cloud, or ERP
Strategic thinking combined with strong hands-on implementation skills
Experience in cloud migration and modern IT architectures
Competence in project and vendor management
Strong communication skills across all hierarchical levels
Hands-on mentality – willing to take on operational tasks as well
Nice-to-have: ERP experience (ideally Proalpha)
Experience in medical technology/GMP environments and validation processes
ITIL and cybersecurity certifications
Expertise in Office 365 and the Microsoft Cloud
Basic business administration knowledge for budgeting and contract management
Personal attributes: initiative and an innovative mindset
Structured working style with a pragmatic approach
Team player (m/f/d) with leadership qualities
Willingness to learn new technologies and regulations
