About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Respond to incoming calls regarding membership services, travel information, account inquiries, and member concerns.
- Gather, verify, and accurately enter information into customer service systems.
- Assist members by providing information, researching requests, and resolving inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Respond to member questions, service concerns, and complaints, escalating issues when appropriate.
- Provide travel-related information, including directions, mileage, routes, accommodations, weather, and road conditions.
- Promote memberships, coverage options, and other club products and services when appropriate.
- Assist with driving school enrollments and scheduling requests, providing information on available courses, registration procedures, and appointment availability.
- Support team operations through training assistance, special projects, and high-volume service periods.
- Work Monday-Friday, 12:00 PM-8:00 PM, plus alternating Saturdays; no Sundays.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1-3 years of customer service, call center, or related experience preferred.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail, data entry accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Minimum typing speed of 30 WPM.
- Proficiency with PC and Windows-based applications preferred.
- Geographic knowledge of the service territory preferred.
- Knowledge of membership products, services, and benefits preferred.
- Adaptable, reliable, and team-oriented with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
