About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act as a thought partner to product managers and experience leaders
  • Identify opportunities to optimize digital experiences through experimentation, behavioral analytics, and data-driven decision-making
  • Perform moderately complex analysis and develop actionable recommendations supporting growth and profitability targets
  • Monitor and communicate performance, trends, and strategic insights for digital personal-lines auto and property products
  • Assess market risks and opportunities and influence executive leadership decisions with data-based insights
  • Use SQL, Microsoft Excel, Essbase, Snowflake, and Power BI to analyze large amounts of data
  • Support business cases by synthesizing data, modeling scenarios, and evaluating financial impacts
  • Apply AI tools and techniques to improve analytical efficiency, automate routine work, and develop scalable decision-support solutions
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and reports for leadership, regional partners, and external team members
  • Streamline processes and improve analytical efficiency through automation, enhanced tools, and data governance
  • Collaborate with Actuarial, Finance, State Product Management, Operations, and other teams on new products, programs, and processes
  • Travel occasionally, less than 10%, for internal and cross-functional meetings

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, business, statistics, economics, computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • High school diploma required; related bachelor's degree or higher may be in lieu of 2 years experience
  • 6+ years of analytical experience in insurance or related industries required
  • Superior research, statistical, analytical, processing and mathematical skills with ability to structure and conduct analyses
  • Ability to multitask and strong time management
  • Ability to make effective formal presentations
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel and Business Intelligence/Data Visualization Tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker required
  • Superior knowledge of insurance, accounting and rate-making concepts
  • Extensive experience and advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, SAS, SQL, Visual Basic and structured analysis and design techniques
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to coach and mentor co-workers and give feedback
  • Must be authorized to work indefinitely in the US
  • CSAA does not provide visa sponsorship
  • Hawaii and Alaska are excluded from the remote hiring locations
