About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare financial analyses, research, reports, and statements to support management decisions
  • Ensure data integrity within financial systems
  • Analyze and evaluate the financial impact of decisions and transactions
  • Respond to departmental and management inquiries and requests for financial data

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Experience preparing financial reports
  • Experience using automated accounting and/or management reporting systems
  • Experience preparing, analyzing, and interpreting financial or statistical data
  • Experience developing workpapers, schedules, and models using spreadsheet software such as Excel
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
  • Ability to research and analyze complex financial data
  • Ability to analyze and problem solve
  • Ability to organize and plan
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to participate on project teams
  • Ability to work irregular or extended hours as required
  • Ability to derive actionable conclusions from data analysis
  • Knowledge of property and casualty insurance industry concepts
