About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manages litigation project portfolio, triaging litigation ideas received via division intake.
- Applies project management and change management concepts to drive adoption of new processes, tools, and workflows.
- Identifies operational gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities, implementing practical solutions.
- Drives and facilitates the adoption of new and updated processes, workflows, tools, and vendor solutions.
- Communicates effectively with attorneys, legal staff, litigation leadership, vendors, and business partners while safeguarding confidentiality.
- Prepares reports, analyses, and presentations for leadership audiences.
- Partners with Claims Law and Subrogation Law leadership to facilitate discovery, document business needs, and translate operational requirements into actionable project, process, technology, and change initiatives.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Typically, a minimum of 8 years of relevant legal, legal operations, or litigation operations experience.
- 3–4 years of people leadership or supervisory experience.
- Advanced knowledge of legal concepts, terminology, and procedures relevant to legal or litigation support functions.
- Strong understanding of law office and litigation office administration, facilities management, budgeting, purchasing, and legal technology.
- Working knowledge of legal operations, litigation operations, project management, financial management, and process improvement concepts.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and matter or case management systems.
