About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Independently work on design and develop solutions to business challenges
- Collaborate with business units to ensure solutions meet objectives
- Mentor junior data engineers and review solutions for quality
- Clearly communicate solutions to business owners
- Participate in daily standup meetings and complete projects during sprints
Requirements
What you’ll need- Expert in SQL for querying and processing large data sets of 200,000 rows or more
- Functional knowledge of programming languages like Python and Spark
- Good understanding of cloud technologies, preferably AWS
- Experience with data integration from different sources into Big Data systems
- Experience with design, coding, and quality testing
- Previous experience working with an Agile team
