About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Performs multiple legal tasks in support of single or multiple trial attorney s , including legal research, drafting litigation documents, and assisting with discovery, witness coordination, and evidence management.
  • Conducts moderately complex research and analyzes law sources such as statutes, judicial decisions, and procedural rules.
  • Prepares standard litigation documents, supports trial preparation, and maintains organized case files throughout all phases of civil litigation.
  • Assists with document collection, review, organization, and production.
  • Helps locate witnesses and evidence, prepare exhibit lists, and coordinates with vendors when needed.
  • Performs moderate‑level legal research and analyzes statutes, case law, court rules, and procedural requirements for trial attorneys.
  • Assists in factual investigations and compiles data from various resources relevant to civil claims and defenses.
  • Drafts pleadings, discovery requests and responses, deposition summaries, correspondence, inter‑office memos, and other litigation‑related documents.
  • Prepares trial binders, witness files, demonstratives, and timelines.
  • Supports attorneys during hearings, mediations, and trial as needed.
  • Maintains and organizes case files, calendars deadlines, tracks litigation tasks, and ensures compliance with court rules and filing requirements.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 4–6 years of paralegal experience, preferably in civil litigation
  • Proven legal research skills
  • Advanced experience drafting and reviewing litigation documents
  • Excellent organizational, writing, and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines
  • Ability to handle confidential information and exercise discretion
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for working with attorneys, clients, and witnesses
  • Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Proven ability to meet productivity and service quality expectations
