Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and develop Actuarial Analysts and Consultants, providing coaching, training, and direction
Oversee actuarial analyses, support business decision-making
Ensure projects are completed on time and with high quality
Develop and maintain business relationships with internal and external clients
Review work of Consultants and Analysts and oversees the successful completion of projects
Manage and train Actuarial Consultants and/or Analysts within the department
Manage Teams time and workload and recommends tradeoffs to leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need

BA/BS in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science or related area and 5 years of post bachelor experience performing statistical and actuarial analysis on commercial insurance
Graduate degree in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science or related area and 3 years experience performing statistical and actuarial analysis on personal lines insurance
3+ years commercial insurance experience
ACAS (Associate in Casualty Actuarial Society)
Requires strong decision-making, leadership and motivational skills
Have a solid understanding of the market landscape
Requires the ability to coach, mentor, evaluate and provide training, guidance and constructive feedback to professional staff
