About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work on sprint stories using Agile framework in 2-week sprints
- Code in Gosu and use Studio for Guidewire development
- Handle batches, UI changes, message queues, web service integrations, page configuration files, and unit tests
- Support testing stories by designing or executing testing plans
- Present to developers during code reviews and to teams during sprint reviews
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in a production environment
- Familiarity with Agile concepts
- Experience with Guidewire, particularly PolicyCenter and BillingCenter
- Extensive experience with Java, Javascript, SQL, Gosu, IntelliJ, and Studio
- Knowledge of Mulesoft, React or Node.js for building APIs
- Understanding of web services (SOAP, REST)
- Ability to present complex technical concepts
- Comfortable speaking in front of 20 or more people
