About the role
- Work on sprint stories in 2-week sprints
- Use Agile framework for development
- Code in Gosu using Guidewire Studio
- Implement changes including batches, UI changes, message queues, web service integrations
- Support testing stories and execute testing plans
- Present code and stories to developers and stakeholders
- Collaborate with development team and product owners during sprint reviews
Requirements
- Experience in a production environment
- On-call availability
- Triage tickets and troubleshoot issues
- Previous experience with Agile teams
- Participate in daily standup meetings
- Prior experience with Guidewire (PolicyCenter and BillingCenter preferred)
- Extensive experience with Java, Javascript, SQL, Gosu, IntelliJ, and Studio
- Able to use Mulesoft for API building
- Experience with React or Node.js for digital apps
- Understanding of Postman, SOAP, and REST
- Comfortable presenting in front of groups
- Ability to clarify complex technical concepts
