Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform complex data analysis for assigned client groups
  • Evaluate findings in relation to broader business objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to gather insights, validate findings, and align on recommended actions
  • Develop recommendations, improve procedures, and identify additional analysis needed for effective solutions
  • Prepare and communicate findings and recommendations to business partners
  • Co-present results to senior management
  • Review less experienced team members’ work for accuracy, logic, and appropriateness
  • Develop and enhance reporting processes for client information and insights
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, consistency, and cadence
  • Coach and guide team members on reporting processes, analytical approaches, and communication of findings
  • Participate in employee resource groups and volunteering
  • Support onboarding and relationship-building through appropriate camera use
  • Travel as needed for divisional, team, and other in-person meetings
  • Fulfill business needs, including investing extra time and helping other teams
  • Support Commercial Lines analysis, with possible Personal Lines analysis as business needs arise
  • Participate in larger-scale initiatives and lead smaller projects

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, business, statistics, economics, computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of directly related experience
  • Strong coding and data visualization skills
  • Proficiency in SAS, Snowflake, and Power BI
  • Strong research, statistical, analytical, and mathematical skills
  • Ability to structure and conduct complex analyses and communicate findings effectively
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate with varied audiences
  • Adaptability, organization, and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while providing coaching, mentorship, and constructive feedback
  • MBA or other advanced degree in a related field and/or CPCU designation preferred as factors that would make the employer excited
  • Strong knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance concepts, products, and industry practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SAS, SQL, Visual Basic, and structured analysis and design techniques
  • Must be authorized to work indefinitely in the United States
