Design Engineer

Implementation Specialist

• Support device installations across FAA facilities as part of the FAA Brand New Air Traffic Control System (BNATCS) Program.
• Ensure each site is install-ready, technically compliant, and properly documented prior to and during installation.
• Close coordination among Program Management, Engineering Services, Technical Operations, vendors, and site personnel to ensure compliance with FAA standards and safe continuity of air traffic operations.
• Review equipment placement, telecommunications services, radio interfaces, legal recording connections, and workstation configurations.
• Validate Vendor Site Survey Worksheets (SSWs), Site Survey Reports (SSRs), and Site Installation Plans (SIPs) for accuracy and completeness.
• Provide on-site technical oversight during installation and ensure installations meet FAA compliance and documentation requirements.

Software Engineer

• Develop new mobile technology and modify existing software products

Communications

• Perform independent technical verification of power, grounding, and interconnect cabling to confirm compliance with approved designs, equipment specifications, and site requirements.
• Validate wiring accuracy, labeling, continuity, and terminations in preparation for S-VCS equipment installation and activation.
• Support post-site survey activities by validating survey findings, identifying technical discrepancies, and assisting with remediation planning.
• Coordinate on-site activities with Facilities Key Personnel (KP), Engineering Services, Technical Operations (Tech Ops), and vendors.
• Perform all work in accordance with FAA safety, security, and site-specific access requirements.

Telecommunications Field Technician – 100% Travel

Analyst

• Provide day-to-day program control support for logistics and travel activities associated with post-site survey support and legacy VCS disposition efforts.
• Support development and maintenance of site-specific schedules aligned with approved transition waterfalls and cutover plans.
• Track task execution status, open actions, risks, and dependencies related to logistics, travel, and site execution activities.
• Support preparation of periodic status reports documenting progress, issues, risks, and mitigation actions.
• Assist with planning and coordination of logistics activities for legacy VCS equipment removal, staging, shipment, transfer, reuse, or disposal.
• Track property accountability actions, including transfers, excess reporting, and disposal entries in FAA property systems (e.g., FRAMES), supporting verification and audit readiness.
• Maintain organized records of equipment removal forms, shipping documentation, inventory validation records, and recycling certificates (R2/e-Steward), as applicable.
• Coordinate with site teams, vendors, and FAA Logistics Center (FAALC) stakeholders to ensure logistics activities align with FAA requirements and site constraints.
• Coordinate nationwide travel for program personnel supporting site surveys, remediation, installation oversight, and disposition execution across FAA facilities.
• Ensure all travel is properly authorized in advance, compliant with government per diem policies, and aligned with task-order requirements.
• Track travel costs, reconcile travel documentation, and provide cost inputs to Program Management for forecasting and reporting.
• Support preparation, review, tracking, and submission of logistics- and travel-related inputs to SOW deliverables, including status reports and final disposition documentation.
• Maintain centralized repositories or fusion hubs with accurate, current logistics and travel records to support traceability and FAA acceptance.
• Assist Program Management in ensuring deliverables are complete, accurate, and inspection ready.

Program Control Analyst

• Support logistics planning for site preparation, equipment installation readiness, and legacy VCS disposition activities across FAA facilities nationwide.
• Coordinate logistics activities with site personnel, vendors, FAA Logistics Center (FAALC), and program stakeholders.
• Track legacy VCS equipment removal, staging, shipment, transfer, reuse, or disposal activities in accordance with FAA-approved procedures.
• Assist with validation of equipment inventories, serial numbers, configurations, and quantities prior to shipment or disposal.
• Support Disposition Leads and site teams with logistics coordination for physical removal and packaging of decommissioned equipment.
• Maintain organized, auditable records of logistics activities, including shipping documentation, equipment removal forms, inventory records, and disposition confirmations.
