About the role
- Install, configure, and maintain IBM z/OS operating systems and subsystems
- Manage and support ZOSMF and SMP/E environments
- Perform dump analysis to diagnose and resolve system issues
- Provide technical expertise in Assembler language for system-level coding and debugging
- Maintain and support Broadcom Top Secret security system to ensure data protection and compliance
- Oversee CICS installation, debugging, and performance optimization
- Generate and analyze SMF reports for performance monitoring and system tuning
- Utilize SAS and MXG for advanced data analysis and reporting
- Manage and support Broadcom program products such as CA 1, CA 7, and Endevor
- Ensure robust network connectivity and troubleshoot networking issues in mainframe environments
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM z/OS systems
- Proficiency in ZOSMF and SMP/E installation and maintenance
- Strong knowledge of Assembler language and dump analysis
- Expertise in Broadcom CA-Top Secret highly preferred
- Experience with CICS installation, debugging, and performance tuning
- Demonstrated experience with SMF reporting, SAS, and MXG
- Familiarity with Broadcom products like CA 1, CA 7, and Endevor
- Strong networking knowledge in mainframe environments
