About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of enterprise software development and modernization projects.
- Develop and maintain integrated project schedules, work plans, milestones, resource plans, and project deliverables.
- Manage concurrent software development, operations and maintenance, and modernization activities across multiple workstreams.
- Ensure successful execution of contract requirements while meeting customer expectations for quality, schedule, and cost.
- Coordinate activities across project management, business analysis, software engineering, quality assurance, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and cloud engineering teams.
- Monitor project progress and proactively resolve schedule, staffing, and technical issues.
- Ensure deliverables are completed on time and meet quality expectations.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum 10 years of experience managing Federal IT programs.
- Minimum 5 years leading Agile software development and application modernization initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience managing enterprise application development, operations and maintenance, and cloud modernization projects.
- Experience managing geographically distributed technical teams.
- Experience supporting mission-critical software systems within a federal environment.
