About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Establishes and achieves measurable goals for ATSU Enrollment Services
  • Responsible for knowledge, interpretation, implementation, and evaluation of federal regulations and compliance
  • Collaborates with university departments and academic programs
  • Provides oversight for all federal, state, institutional, VA, private and third-party financial aid
  • Leads the Federal Work-Study team improving and growing opportunities
  • Responsible for registration and grading processes for ATSU program pathways and students
  • Provides leadership and staff development for financial aid advisors
  • Collaborates with administrators, deans, faculty, and advisors for student retention
  • Manages functions of university operations such as the academic calendar
  • Oversees office policy and procedure development
  • Prepares or approves internal and external reports for accreditations
  • Oversees ATSU enrollment data and financial aid statistics
  • Develops and administers financial aid and scholarship models
  • Facilitates a work environment that values high-quality service delivery
  • Oversees ongoing staff training and development in federal programs and compliance standards.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master's degree required
  • Doctorate degree preferred
  • Deep understanding of higher education administration, specifically in areas of academic records, FERPA, and Title IV compliance
  • Experience at a graduate health professions institution
  • Include experience in an academic department, financial aid, or registrar's office
  • Experience in implementing and maintaining policies in accordance with industry best practices
  • Extensive experience in project management
  • Successful record in budget management, personnel development, and technology planning/integration
  • Skilled in making oral and written presentations
  • Ability to perform at an exceptional level in high-pressure situations
  • Strong analytical skills to research and analyze service offerings and make improvement recommendations
  • Ability to develop positive relationships/partnerships
  • Skilled in creating a work environment inviting new ideas
  • Possess a growth mindset and be comfortable giving and receiving feedback and constructive criticism.
