About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Help families and professional referral sources arrange senior care after hospital or skilled nursing facility discharge
- Deliver monthly quota by generating daily qualified patient referrals from assigned market-plan accounts
- Maintain and grow a portfolio of hospital and skilled nursing facility clients, including social workers, case managers, and discharge planners
- Develop, own, and expand the territory book of accounts to increase referral volume
- Cultivate new account contacts through networking, cold calls, and service presentations
- Follow up with referral sources on discharge outcomes
- Educate families about care options and coordinate with Healthcare Senior Living Advisors
- Partner with Healthcare Senior Living Advisors to drive community move-ins and in-home-care hires
- Analyze CRM and internal reports to develop and manage the sales pipeline
- Pilot new initiatives, tests, and processes and provide feedback
- Work with the Regional Director to build weekly account plans
- Conduct scheduled presentations, calls, and impromptu visits with case managers, discharge planners, doctors, and patients
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3–5 years of outside sales experience as an individual contributor
- Exceptional prospecting and lead generation abilities
- Knowledge of the senior living industry
- Hospital/skilled nursing facility sales experience
- Proven record of exceeding sales quotas and collaborating with other teams
- Experience presenting to target customers and overcoming objections
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, change-oriented environment
- Willingness to test new processes and execute effectively
- Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Effective time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Sheets, and a CRM; Salesforce preferred
- Ability to travel locally into territory accounts daily during the five-day workweek
- Authorization to work in the United States
