About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and manage the annual budgeting process, monthly financial forecasting, and development/maintenance of supporting financial models and tools.
- Partner proactively with departmental leaders to ensure alignment with budgeted plans and support their financial decision-making.
- Monitor key performance indicators, identify trends, and analyze the causes of variances, assessing their impact on the business.
- Collaborate closely with operational teams to surface actionable insights and drive improved business outcomes through analytics.
- Prepare and deliver ad hoc analyses and custom financial reports to support business objectives.
- Produce weekly, quarterly, and monthly financial reports for management and stakeholders.
- Utilize business intelligence tools and dashboards to enhance reporting capabilities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support evolving business needs.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of Financial Planning & Analysis experience, including director-level responsibilities.
- Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required.
- Interest in or experience with AI tools.
- Strong organizational abilities and highest standards for accuracy and precision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present complex information clearly.
- Creative thinker, highly driven and self-motivated.
- Demonstrated hands-on approach to problem-solving and delivering analytical insights.
- Leadership experience in a management capacity with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- CPA preferred, but not required.
