About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensures that all store door import/export requirements are maintained
- Reports daily store door movements, service failure issues and other challenges to supervisor
- Improves inland operations processes
- Monitors and resolves problems to ensure movement of idle containers
- Tracks and reports potential demurrage
- Coordinates with rail/truck operator, line and terminal operations to ensure movement of containers as planned
- Maintains data integrity through accurate inputs/updates to all related systems
- Implements methods and measures to drive intermodal, positioning and storage costs down
- Recovers equipment, maintenance and repair costs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Previous experience on a similar position within shipping, Rail & Road Transport Management
- Qualities of a strong team player
- High level of result orientation and reliability
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Hungarian
- PC proficiency – MS Office/Excel at advanced level
