About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

You will be involved with the design of warehousing solutions including lay-outs, resource calculations, IT requirements, operational processes and flows, costs.
Develop and prepare new logistics concepts and value propositions based on identified best technical and organizational solutions.
Engagement in the sales process for contract logistics opportunities, acting as the subject matter expert and technical support.
Build market and product knowledge and ensure this information is shared with all relevant stakeholders, sales and colleagues in the wider business.
Act as a centre of excellence adopting and sharing best practices with the solution design community across Europe.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Significant experience in International Supply Chains.
Strong understanding of the value drivers of supply chain.
A data driven approach with the ability to analyse and translate into appropriate solutions and action plans.
Strong WND operational background and extensive knowledge of technologies that support warehousing processes.
Proven pan European vertical specific understanding on trade / regulatory / statutory and security compliance requirements.
Strong knowledge of Logistics processes and solution design outlines and methodologies.
Solid technology skills including understanding of WMS requirements.
Proven track record in a matrix, multi-cultural organisation, building strong relationships and networks both locally and internationally.
Agile and self-starter, enjoys working in a high pace and versatile environment.
