LCL & CRM Business Development Manager
A.P. Moller - MaerskBusiness Development Manager driving product and commercial performance for LCL, FCL, and CRM at Maersk. Responsible for strategic planning, product management and sales enablement across South West Europe.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for the strategic planning, marketing and execution of the product throughout its lifecycle.
- Execute product vision and strategy: gather user requirements, create a product roadmap, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage product launches, and analyze product performance.
- Communicate product value propositions to improve customer understanding and commercial impact.
- Guide sales teams across relevant verticals to support product growth and volume targets.
- Deliver product training for LCL, FCL, CRM (Insurance) and related solutions.
- Increase pipeline volume and quality for assigned products across the area.
- Analyze lost opportunities and drive initiatives to enhance competitiveness.
- Support onboarding of new customers and act as the first escalation point when needed.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain products (LCL, FCL, Insurance).
- Commercial mindset with strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience in sales, business development or product management in logistics or freight forwarding.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and general IT literacy.
- Data-driven analytical skills.
- Visionary and strategic thinker.
- Native French speaker and fluent English required.
- Spanish is a plus.
- Understanding of P&L.
