Landside Operations Team Manager

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist the Inland Operation Manager in ensuring efficient and cost-effective physical delivery operations.
- Drive intermodal performance & commercial orientation/awareness.
- Manage a team size of 7+ members.
- Coordinate with Customers, Maersk Trucking team and Customs Officers for stuffing plan and/or to arrange services on schedule.
- Attend all inquiries from Customers and communicate with related parties in case of exceptions.
- Drive compliance and safety in daily operations.
- Set up SOP/IOPs, processes in line with customer’s requirements and internal processes.
- Conduct regular training and coaching to team members.
- Monitor KPIs, improve reporting within the organization, and move towards standardization of process.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Have at least 5 years of experience in Transport & Customs Operation management role.
- Familiar with Transport Management Software, VNACCS (customs declaration), and proficient in MS Office.
- Good Planning, Customer Service, and Communication skills.
- Good leadership skills.
- Able to manage and develop the team.
- Good stakeholder management skills.
- Strong process-oriented approach and attention to detail.
- Resilient team player who is result-focused and demonstrates a high level of commitment with the ability to work independently.
- Good communication in English (writing and verbally).
