About the role

  • Manage & lead the Airfreight product team in Vietnam
  • P&L ownership, coverage are a total of 02 stations in North & South Vietnam
  • Identify market trends, opportunities, and customer needs
  • Own the execution of Air Freight initiatives and strategies within country
  • Build bridges between Product development, Operations and Sales
  • Ensure you have a good connection with other Country Air Freight teams
  • Develop strong local relationships with core carriers
  • Support the regional function in maintaining carrier relations
  • Drive cost reductions by optimal allocation with carriers and contracts
  • Take responsibility for Air Freight Pricing activities in the Country
  • Ensure that we are fulfilling commitments and generating a better-than-market buying price
  • Ensure the team adheres to the standard process and customer-specific IOPs
  • Implement new systems to be most effective
  • Focus on maximizing revenue, EBIT and GP through upselling and cost management

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience in air charter/freight forwarding/air freight at similar management position(s)
  • Strong leadership skills to manage and develop the team
  • Ability to communicate clearly and set focus/direction
  • Language proficiency: Professional English level, Native Vietnamese level
  • Strong P&L experience to anticipate future product performance
  • Ability to identify customer pain points using qualitative and quantitative data
  • Strong customer-focused mindset with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong strategic mindset and execution skills
  • Strong project management and planning skills
