About the role
- Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities for the LCL product across key trade lanes
- Build and maintain strong relationships with importers, exporters, and key decision-makers
- Develop tailored solutions that highlight the benefits of the company’s LCL services
- Conduct market research to analyze customer needs, competitor activities, and trade dynamics
- Monitor LCL market trends and provide insights for product positioning and competitive differentiation
- Work closely with pricing, procurement, and operations teams to design competitive LCL offerings
- Ensure customer requirements are accurately translated into operational execution
- Partner with marketing to develop promotional materials and specific campaigns
- Manage sales pipeline, forecast revenue, and track progress against business targets
- Prepare reports and dashboards on customer acquisition, trade performance, and business opportunities
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in sales processes and customer engagement
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Industrial engineer, International Trade, Supply Chain, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or international transportation
- LCL experience is mandatory
- Solid understanding of freight forwarding operations (especially LCL consolidation, pricing, allocation, and trade lane management)
- Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue growth targets
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently, with strong organizational and time management skills
- Commercial acumen with strong customer orientation
- Strategic thinker with a proactive, results-driven approach
- Excellent communication and networking abilities
- Analytical mindset to evaluate opportunities and market potential
- English fluency
