About the role

  • Architect and deliver scalable AI/ML systems across domains such as predictive analytics, NLP, and Generative AI.
  • Collaborate closely with business, product, and engineering leaders to translate complex challenges into measurable AI outcomes.
  • Lead and execute large-scale, end-to-end AI/ML initiatives.
  • Establish best practices for solution scalability, reproducibility, and governance through robust MLOps, CI/CD, and performance monitoring frameworks.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to AI/ML engineers and cross-functional teams through code reviews, solution design sessions, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • A seasoned AI/ML professional with 10+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying enterprise-scale AI/ML solutions.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, PySpark, and experience with cloud ecosystems (Azure preferred) and tools such as Databricks, Synapse, ADF, and Azure Web Apps.
  • Strong expertise in Applied Machine Learning, NLP, and Generative AI, with proven experience in production-grade deployments.
  • In-depth understanding of model lifecycle management, including evaluation, optimization, interpretability, bias mitigation, and continuous monitoring.
  • A problem solver with scientific rigor, strong business acumen, and the ability to bridge data science with decision-making and product outcomes.
  • Experience leading complex AI/ML projects or collaborating with global engineering teams to operationalize ML pipelines and scalable architectures.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline; a PhD is an added advantage.
  • Prior exposure to the shipping and logistics domain is a plus.
