About the role

  • Act as a trusted partner for the Site management, playing a critical role driving an effective operational control environment for the site.
  • Drive financial profitability by ensuring strong controls in operational processes, identifying gaps and ensuring that potential exposures are effectively reduced.
  • Identify and drive resolution of revenue and cost leakage.
  • Establish cost driver KPI’s for the site.
  • Conduct control reviews, identifying revenue leakage and excessive costs.
  • Collaborate with Site manager to resolve discrepancies.
  • Implement cost control measurements for the site, jointly with operations.
  • Report on periodic variances and their causes, focusing on spending variances.
  • Supports analysis of actuals costs results, margin and trends (of site and type of costs assigned).
  • Review and establish cost follow-up structure that allows for proper cost visibility and accountability.
  • Help, jointly with site management and FINOPS partner , to maintain financial modelling estimated results of the site.
  • Weekly audit of cost entries, at a Site / Costumer / Type of cost assigned, and other preventive evaluations for operational processes, required by Business Controller.
  • Review processes related with costs entries.
  • Develop and implement measures to reduce risks of revenue and cost leakage, and drive performance and productivity.
  • Perform Risk and Compliance assessment for required controls, to ensure necessary documentary evidence and records are created, and provided as required in the RICC Manual, fraud guidelines and other applicable APMM guidelines (as far as it cover operational/cx controls). This also includes effective resolution of deficiencies and/or audit findings.
  • Help Business Controlling for creating transparency on GP and PDP results for the site.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance / Engineering / Accounting (+3y)
  • Stakeholder management
  • Strong communication skills and able to influence without authority
  • Proficient in financial controls and risk management
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle large amount of data, analytical skills.
  • Experience in the field of logistics, depots, cold storage or warehouses (+3y).
  • Work experience >5y.
  • English at intermediate level.
  • Availability to travel to San Antonio twice a week
