- Act as key contributor managing and executing accounting tasks for various clients using platforms such as QuickBooks, Bill.com, and NetSuite.
- Execute balance sheet account reconciliations with supporting schedules (prepaids, fixed assets, accruals) and maintain comprehensive supporting schedules for accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and more.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes; prepare sales tax returns and year-end 1099s when necessary; coordinate with audit or tax teams.
- Ensure the integrity of accounting information by diligently recording and verifying transactions and maintaining the general ledger in compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Evaluate workflow processes and recommend procedural and system changes to increase accuracy and efficiencies; take ownership of issues and follow through to resolution; strong client-facing skills and teamwork orientation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
- CPA highly preferred
- Public accounting experience highly preferred
- Advanced proficiency in tools like QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, NetSuite, and Excel
