About the role
- Provide great service to the members; we will provide the environment for you to grow and develop into a world class service provider.
- Process member transactions; identify financial needs and recommend valuable solutions.
- Cross-sell appropriate products and services to current and prospective members.
- Consistently meet or exceed established sales/service goals and support branch growth.
- Participate in outside business development and community events.
- Operate, maintain, and balance a cash drawer.
- Sell special service items, perform cash advances and process collection items.
- Assist members with opening/closing basic types of accounts.
- Update account information and assist with loan applications.
- Proceed inquiries about rates, products, services and claims of fraudulent use of debit cards.
- Assist with daily balancing of coin machine and prepare outgoing coin shipment.
- Maintain working knowledge of all products and services.
- Maintain member confidentiality and complete regulatory training.
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Minimum of six months work experience (sales, teller, and/or personal banker experience preferred).
- Basic knowledge of math/computer skills.
