About the role

  • Design and evolve the company's data warehouse, data lake, and lakehouse architecture;
  • Create and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for data ingestion and transformation;
  • Develop and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines;
  • Perform database modeling following design patterns and dimensional modeling (Kimball);
  • Configure and maintain data infrastructure on AWS;
  • Support and improve existing infrastructure;
  • Orchestrate data workflows using dbt and Prefect;
  • Work with data warehouse platforms such as PostgreSQL, Redshift, and Snowflake;
  • Ensure availability, performance, and reliability of data systems;
  • Establish and enforce data governance across the company;
  • Implement data engineering best practices and data quality measures;
  • Provide support to governance and back-office teams;
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, technology, and other business teams;
  • Develop automations, dashboards, and metrics to meet business needs;
  • Translate business rules into technical data solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree completed or in progress in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or Engineering.
  • Strong experience with SQL and programming (preferably Python);
  • Experience with PostgreSQL;
  • Knowledge of AWS infrastructure;
  • Proficiency with data orchestration tools: Prefect and dbt.
  • Familiarity with data warehouse platforms: Snowflake or Redshift;
  • Knowledge of design patterns and dimensional modeling (Kimball);
  • Understanding of data architectures and modeling for Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and Lakehouse structures;
  • Knowledge of data solutions architecture.
