About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Enter participant and client data into internal systems with 98% accuracy, adhering to established service level agreements and internal standards
  • Prepare, process, and maintain existing and new client and participant records using internal systems and tools
  • Ensure data integrity across A.E. Perkins products and services
  • Research and resolve data entry and processing errors within 24 hours
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal teams, addressing inquiries and resolving issues
  • Perform monthly reconciliation of participant and client data files when requested as an audit
  • Identify and correct discrepancies within reporting deadlines
  • Manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently, prioritizing work to meet organizational goals
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support overall team operations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and accurately to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Highly detail-oriented, with the ability to consistently maintain data accuracy and catch discrepancies
  • Ability to apply critical thinking skills to analyze situations, identify potential issues, and resolve data-related problems efficiently
  • Proficient in navigating multiple web-based programs, Google Docs, and Microsoft Excel, including data entry, basic formulas, and data organization
  • Strong ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment, providing support to colleagues and collaborating on shared tasks and projects
  • Associate’s Degree required
  • 1-2 years of experience in data entry required, with demonstrated success in maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines
  • FSA, COBRA, Voluntary Benefits knowledge preferred, with experience in processing or maintaining benefits-related data
  • Familiarity with internal data entry systems and tools preferred
