About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist with ticketing queues, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and collection processes
  • Manage bank lockbox processing activities and apply funds accurately and on time
  • Handle exception funding processes, identify discrepancies, and ensure proper resolutions
  • Oversee Health Savings Account (H.S.A.) transactions in compliance with regulations and internal policies
  • Oversee COBRA payments and mail/email in compliance with regulations and internal policies
  • Execute stop payment entries with proper documentation and communication
  • Collaborate with the Director of Accounting Operations on special projects and process improvement initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Solid understanding of core products, including FSA, HRA, COBRA, and H.S.A.
  • Ability to read and comprehend financial ledgers
  • Fundamental understanding of banking operations and processes
  • Proficiency in navigating banking websites and using various financial systems
  • Effective communication with internal departments and external entities through email, phone, and video
  • Ability to troubleshoot financial discrepancies and work collaboratively to find solutions
  • High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in accounting tasks
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with a Third-Party Administrator (TPA)
  • Minimum of an Associate's degree in a related field is required
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
