About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the main point of contact during onboarding of new clients and renewal of existing accounts.
  • Deliver proactive, personalized, white-glove client service and anticipate client needs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Plan Administrators, Brokers, and other key stakeholders to support retention and growth.
  • Follow structured onboarding and renewal processes and standard operating procedures.
  • Educate clients on systems, tools, policies, best practices, products, and services.
  • Own client issues from start to finish and support escalated onboarding or renewal issues.
  • Maintain organized, accurate, and current client records and process documentation.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Client Experience, and Operations to execute business plans and ensure seamless client experiences.
  • Handle sensitive client information confidentially and ensure HIPAA and regulatory compliance.
  • Identify process improvements in onboarding and renewal workflows.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by the Client Experience Manager.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution required.
  • 3+ years of account management experience preferred, with a demonstrated focus on onboarding, renewal, or customer success roles.
  • Experience in Benefits Administration or a related field preferred.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools preferred.
  • Clear understanding of Ameriflex products and how they work.
  • Ability to provide proactive and personalized client service and anticipate client needs.
  • Strong ability to resolve issues efficiently and independently.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain comprehensive client records.
  • Ability to remain composed and efficient in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Skilled in navigating multiple web-based programs and learning new tools and systems.
  • Motivation to achieve individual and team goals related to client satisfaction and retention.
  • In-depth understanding of HIPAA regulations and best practices for handling sensitive information.
  • Experience identifying process improvements and implementing changes to streamline workflows.
  • Ability to travel as needed, ideally once per year, for client relationship initiatives and onboarding events.
