About the role
- Provide overall strategic management by defining program scope and objectives while managing project scope, schedule, budget, and risk.
- Develop project management plans and documentation.
- Oversee the efforts of direct reporting resources.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional team operations.
- Deliver detailed analysis, evaluation, and recommendations for improvements.
Requirements
- A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services.
- 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a college degree is required.
- 13+ years of experience in IT Project Management or related field.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or similar credential is a PLUS.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects from beginning to successful completion.
- Strong organizational skills sufficient to plan, coordinate, track and manage several ongoing complex efforts.
- Prior experience in process of retiring applications/systems across large organizations.
- Knowledge of or experience with the SDLC Retirement/Decommission process.
- Strong written and oral communications skills.
- Experience in Information Security and understanding of the information resource accreditation process.
- Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
- Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance.
