About the role

Create and maintain web pages using Oracle MOD PL/SQL packages.
Maintain the existing applications and enhance the system as per client requirements.
Modify existing batches to incorporate new functionalities.
Analyze system issues and devise and execute remediation plans.
Perform code reviews and bug fixing.
Conduct performance tuning of existing queries and packages.
Comply with all required standards and processes and devise approaches to ensure compliance across the team.
Provide complete technical and maintenance support to the systems.
Run the assigned projects solo as well as working as a team.
Provide round-the-clock support as needed for the assigned tasks.
Interact directly with the customer on behalf of the team to resolve issues or identify new requirements to be addressed by the team.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
10+ years of experience in software development, database design and administration.
8+ years of PL/SQL development experience.
Expertise in creating and maintaining complex PL/SQL code/packages spanning multiple schemas.
Extensive Oracle database experience.
Hands-on experience with Oracle, Java (Spring Framework), PL/SQL, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, JSON, SQL Developer, JDeveloper, Shell Scripting, UNIX, and Linux.
UNIX, MS Windows Server experience.
Proficiency with UNIX Shell scripting.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools for enhanced productivity.
Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication skills.
Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance.
Be able to pass a drug screening, criminal history, and credit checks.
Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
Must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years.
Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last five years. Military Service excluded. (Exception does not include military family members.)
