About the role
- Process the daily flow of Commercial Accounting Declaration (CAD) adjustments and mass corrections.
- Manage the lifecycle of post-entry corrections, ensuring all filings are submitted accurately.
- Conduct systematic internal audits of CADs before they are finalized.
- Identify trends in entry errors and work to resolve them at the source.
- Manage the administrative submission of Canadian export declarations (CERS).
- Facilitate daily maintenance within the CARM Client Portal (CCP).
Requirements
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Canadian customs brokerage operations or a technical compliance role.
- Strong working knowledge of the Customs Act and the CARM portal.
- A CCS (Certified Customs Specialist) designation is required.
- A valid Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) / Qualified Person designation is considered a strong asset.
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) for data reconciliation and experience with modern brokerage software.
