Key responsibilities & impact- Own the entire data function at 9amHealth
- Set vision for the data organization, build and grow the team
- Partner with executive team on company strategy
- Collaborate with various teams on outcomes and metrics
- Make tradeoff decisions between various platforms
- Review ML model performance and clinical safety considerations
- Represent data in board conversations and planning
- Create structure for the organization as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong candidates who have owned a full data function end-to-end at scale
- Experience leading data orgs through meaningful scale
- Experience building and maturing data platforms
- Experience shipping ML or applied AI into a real product
- Ability to operate in ambiguity and build clarity
- Ability to make decisions with imperfect data
- Strong product and business instincts in addition to technical depth
- Understanding of experimentation, causal inference, and limits of A/B testing in healthcare
- Experience with PHI / HIPAA and understanding compliance implications
- Experience hiring, coaching, and leveling up data teams
