Director, Provider Operations

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the strategic and operational owner of the provider organization
- Own the full provider lifecycle from hiring and onboarding through engagement, performance, and retention
- Build systems, strategies, and experiences that enable providers to deliver exceptional care at scale
- Monitor provider performance metrics in collaboration with Clinical Operations and Quality leads
- Define and execute the provider workforce strategy aligned to business growth and demand
- Own provider supply planning, including capacity forecasting and licensing approach
- Design compensation and incentive models aligned with outcomes
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of experience in healthcare operations, provider operations, or workforce management
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing provider teams and/or large-scale clinical operations
- Proven track record of building and scaling provider or workforce operations in high-growth environments
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with experience managing capacity, utilization, and cost
- Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Finance, and Recruiting teams
- Preferred experience in telehealth, digital health, or value-based care models
- Preferred deep experience working closely with clinicians
- Preferred experience managing both W2 and 1099 workforce models
