About the role

  • 9amHealth is the first of its kind virtual cardiometabolic clinic, offering an integrated, whole body approach to preventing and treating obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and related conditions.
  • Founded in 2021 by the team behind mySugr (acquired by Roche), we’re backed by investors like Cigna Ventures, 7Wire Ventures, and Founders Fund. Our team is healthcare veterans passionate about transforming chronic care.
  • Role: a relationship driven Sales Executive who can open doors, spark conversations, and turn them into long term partnerships with benefits consulting firms, pharmacy benefit consultants, and other key influencers.
  • You’ll be the face of 9am Health for this channel: building trust, driving awareness, and creating commercial agreements that help us grow.
  • What You’ll Do: Build and grow relationships with employee benefits consultants, pharmacy consultants, and other strategic advisors who influence employer healthcare decisions; Secure commercial agreements and formal partnerships with consulting firms and their client networks; Attend and host social and office events to deepen relationships and keep 9am Health top of mind; Engage with national pharmacy teams and maintain an active presence in industry networks; Ensure our vendor profiles are up to date and optimized across consultant and broker platforms; Identify incentive structures and co-marketing opportunities that create mutual value; Partner with internal marketing and sales teams to deliver relevant materials, proposals, and case studies to consultant partners; Maintain a pulse on industry trends, competitive landscape, and client needs.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in B2B sales, preferably in digital health, PBM, benefits, or healthcare services
  • Proven success selling to or through consultants, brokers, or advisors
  • Strong networking skills with a natural ability to connect with people in both formal and social settings
  • Ability to travel to partner offices, industry events, and conferences as needed
  • A self starter mindset with the discipline to manage your own book of business and hit revenue goals
