About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the end-to-end design process from concept through shipped asset, including direction, copy, design, build, and iteration
Maintain enterprise-grade, brand-safe, and considered visual quality across web, decks, social, print, and other channels
Develop and defend the visual language across assets, channels, and markets
Design and build campaign, brand, and pitch landing pages using AI throughout the process
Launch initial versions quickly, present them to the CEO and sales, and iterate based on live feedback
Build pitch decks and proposals for enterprise opportunities on short notice
Turn CEO or sales-lead direction into finished, on-brand assets
Maintain the collateral library for consistent company-wide presentation
Support campaigns, social, web, brand, product marketing, events, and outbound marketing needs
Write marketing copy as well as design assets
Work closely with sales to evaluate asset conversion and adjust accordingly
Use AI for ideation, copy, design, build, iteration, and quality assurance
Identify and replace manual production steps with AI-enabled workflows
Bring new AI tools, models, and techniques to the CEO
Maintain short feedback loops and direct communication with the CEO
Respond quickly and keep work moving with visible progress

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong design depth in typography, layout, hierarchy, colour, grid, and motion
Strong portfolio and ability to explain the thinking behind the work
Several years of demonstrated design experience ('you have put in the years')
Fluency with traditional design tools such as Figma and Adobe, or equivalent tools
Ability to defend design decisions and explain them in commercially relevant terms
Experience restructuring work around AI, with demonstrable AI workflows, tools, and output
Comfort using AI for tasks that previously took days while judging which parts require human input
Curiosity and willingness to try new AI tools and techniques quickly
Hands-on maker; not a people manager
Fast, clear writing and proactive communication
Ability to organize, triage, and sequence requirements according to commercial priority
Relentless energy and ability to deliver quickly
Commercial awareness and focus on revenue outcomes
Video production understanding, video editing, social content/posting experience, and SEO are useful but not essential
