About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Social Media Marketing Manager in the development and implementation of social media channel strategies that align with 7-Eleven’s strategic business objectives to drive traffic and increase conversions in-store and across online channels.
  • Manage the day-to-day execution of all social media campaigns, including coordinating with agency partners on paid content delivery and scheduling.
  • Develop and maintain monthly social media content calendars aligned with marketing campaigns, promotions and cultural moments.
  • Collaborate with in-house creative and agency partners to develop low-fi and agile content for all social media platforms.
  • Capture and edit low-fi social-first photo and video content when required to support real-time and agile content across platforms.
  • Support the execution of creator and influencer campaigns, including coordination, briefing, content approvals and performance tracking.
  • Monitor performance across social media channels, analyze campaign metrics and prepare regular reports with recommendations for optimization.
  • Manage day-to-day community management across all social platforms, including engaging with followers, responding to comments and direct messages.
  • Stay informed on emerging social media trends, creator content styles and platform updates to identify opportunities for the brand to participate in relevant conversations.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment focused on creativity, innovation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or related field.
  • Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in social media marketing, preferably in retail, convenience or QSR industry.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful social media campaigns that have driven engagement and follower growth.
  • Experience in influencer management and community management is an asset.
  • Proficiency with monitoring and reporting on social media performance metrics.
  • Cooperative and collaborative attitude with the ability to build internal and external relationships.
  • Ability to solve problems both independently and as part of a team.
