About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Join ION 54 Advertising as an Account Manager supporting paid-for advertising delivery for Tier 1 clients.
- Provide support across other client accounts and help drive new business as the client roster grows.
- Develop and activate strategic cross-platform, multi-market advertising plans with the Head of International Media and wider advertising team.
- Negotiate paid-for activity with key media partners.
- Identify media trends and new channels to inform strategic approaches.
- Develop and manage media partnerships to maximize client benefits and ensure contracted rights are delivered.
- Agree creative activation strategies and deliver them on time, within budget, and against pre-agreed returns.
- Maintain account documentation and establish excellent administrative practices.
- Deliver campaign analysis during and after campaigns to demonstrate performance and learnings.
- Maintain reporting and media tracking documentation.
- Work with Finance to ensure invoicing processes are followed.
- Manage line reports and work across multiple projects and markets to tight deadlines.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 1 year of agency-side media planning and buying experience.
- Keen interest in golf.
- Extensive experience in advertising planning and buying within the sports industry or at a leading media agency.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects across several markets concurrently.
- Experience managing line reports.
- Ability to handle confidential information sensitively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with diverse people.
- Good organizational skills and ability to manage varied tasks.
- Administrative and IT skills, including maintaining records and producing detailed reports.
- Knowledge and experience of digital ad trafficking.
- Commitment to improving output through innovation and thought leadership.
- Team-player mindset with line management experience.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines with a can-do attitude.
