About the role

  • Lead strategic planning for integrated PR campaigns, contributing to client comms plans, timelines, content calendars and KPIs
  • Translate communications objectives into robust, insight-driven earned media strategies, tailored to local and international audiences
  • Develop bilingual press releases, Q&As, media alerts, speeches, and op-eds across client campaigns
  • Draft, translate, and distribute between 30–50 press releases across English and Arabic media outlets over the contract period
  • Provide executive positioning support, including strategic messaging, ghostwriting, briefing materials, and pitching live and written interviews to top-tier media
  • Build and maintain strong media relationships with Arabic-language media across KSA, the GCC and pan-Arab markets
  • Represent clients at press events, media briefings, and activations, providing senior support on-site or remotely as needed
  • Monitor Arabic and English media coverage, assess tone and narrative alignment, and feed insights into evolving strategy and reporting
  • Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to align earned media activity with wider corporate and brand priorities

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years’ PR or strategic communications experience, ideally within a leading agency or in-house at a high-profile organisation
  • Fluent in Modern Standard Arabic and English, with excellent written and spoken communication in both languages
  • Strong track record in strategic communications planning and campaign development
  • Demonstrated success in executive comms, media interview pitching, and high-volume press office management
  • In-depth understanding of the Gulf region’s media, cultural and political landscape
  • Background in sport, tourism, destination marketing, or government affairs
  • Able to work flexibly and independently in a fast-paced, multinational team
  • Willingness to travel within the GCC or attend events as required
  • Established relationships with leading Gulf-region journalists in business, sport, and travel
  • Experience supporting sovereign clients, giga-projects or government entities
  • Familiarity with KPIs and PR reporting tools
  • Experience integrating PR with wider Paid, Owned and Creative functions.
