About the role

  • Assisting in the creation and maintenance of design systems: ensuring consistency and quality across projects.
  • Collaborating with the design team: to produce visually compelling graphics and marketing materials.
  • Supporting the development of visual assets: for marketing campaigns, and promotional materials with several brands.
  • Participating in brainstorming sessions: contributing creative ideas to enhance user experiences and marketing strategies.
  • Supporting user research: gather feedback to inform design decisions and improve user interfaces.
  • Staying up-to-date: with the latest design tools, trends and technologies to bring fresh and innovative ideas to the team.
  • Leverage AI-assisted UI workflows: to accelerate ideation, layout exploration, and design decisions.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, UI/UX Design.
  • Proficiency in English is required. German is a big plus.
  • Full-time availability for a 6 months internship is required.
  • A portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, including examples of UI UX design and graphic design work.
  • Strong proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Confidence generating AI images and concepts & visuals (Midjourney, DALL·E, Gemini, ChatGPT).
  • Apply AI tools for UX writing and microcopy, improving clarity and usability.
  • Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail, typography, color, and layout.
  • Methodical and organized approach to design, with experience working within design systems.
  • Familiarity with marketing concepts and the ability to create visually appealing marketing materials.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to take constructive feedback in and iterate on designs.
  • Self-motivated, eager to learn, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of branding and the ability to apply brand guidelines to design work.
  • Experience with prototyping tools and basic understanding of user experience principles and best practices is a plus.
