About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Invoices & Payment Processing – create and send invoices, prepare bank transfers, and monitor incoming payments.
  • Numbers & KPIs – maintain key metrics, produce reports and small analyses to support our management control.
  • Accounts Receivable – monitor open items, ensure payment terms are met, and coordinate the dunning process.
  • Process Optimization – review, improve, and document finance workflows.
  • Email Communication – friendly, professional correspondence with our tax advisor, the team, and external partners.
  • Payroll – collect payroll data and prepare it for our tax advisor.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 1 year of experience in accounting, controlling, or accounts receivable — or comparable practical experience with demonstrable numerical affinity.
  • Structured working style & attention to detail – you spot issues before they arise.
  • Confident user of Excel / Google Sheets.
  • Self-responsibility & drive – you organize your work independently without micromanagement.
  • Clear, friendly communication in German; English skills are a plus.
  • Team spirit & enthusiasm for improvement – you enjoy developing processes collaboratively.
